Free AI Visibility Checker
Check if ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Google AI Overviews can read your website, then test whether they name your brand. Free, live data, nothing stored.
This free tool shows two things: whether AI engines can access and understand your website, and whether they name your brand when buyers ask. Every result comes from a live check or from your own test, not from estimates.
Step 1 of 2
Can AI engines read your website?
Enter your website. We fetch it live, the way an AI crawler would, and check robots.txt, firewall responses, content, schema and sitemap.
Step 2 of 2
Does AI name your brand?
No tool can see inside ChatGPT for you, so this part is done by you, in your own browser. We write the questions buyers ask; you open each one in an AI engine and mark whether your brand was named.
Nothing you enter is stored. Results show what was true at the moment of the check. A good score means AI engines can access and understand your site; it does not guarantee that they will recommend you.
What the website check looks at
- robots.txt rules for the crawlers behind ChatGPT search, Perplexity, Google, Bing and Copilot, plus the training crawlers.
- Firewall responses, by requesting your homepage as OAI-SearchBot and PerplexityBot. Security tools sometimes block them even when robots.txt allows them.
- Content in the HTML, because many AI crawlers do not run JavaScript.
- Indexing signals: noindex tags, title, meta description and headings.
- Brand signals: Organization or LocalBusiness schema, sameAs profile links and an XML sitemap.
Frequently asked questions
Is this tool really free?
Yes. There is no sign-up and no limit beyond a fair-use cap of 15 website checks per hour.
Why do I test the AI answers myself?
AI engines give different answers to different people, and their answers change over time. Running the questions in your own browser, in a private window, shows you what a real buyer sees today, instead of a number from a tool that cannot see inside those engines.
Does a high score mean AI will recommend me?
No. The score shows whether AI engines can reach and understand your site. Whether they recommend you also depends on your content, reviews and mentions on other websites. No one can guarantee placement in AI answers.
Do you store my website or brand name?
No. The check runs when you press the button and the results are not saved. Your Named or Not named marks stay in your browser.
Should I block GPTBot or Google-Extended?
That is a business choice. These crawlers collect data for model training. Blocking them does not stop ChatGPT search or Google AI Overviews from showing your pages, which use OAI-SearchBot and Googlebot. Read more in our technical AEO checklist.
